6 Step Program
Step 1: Early Spring: Pre-emergent herbicide to stop crabgrass before it starts, along with a starter fertilizer to encourage early green growth.
Step 2: Late Spring: A lighter follow-up treatment of pre-emergent and weed control products to target dandelions and other broadleaf weeds.
Step 3: Early Summer: Weed and feed the lawn with a balanced, slow-release nitrogen fertilizer that includes iron to enhance and maintain rich green color.
Step 4: Mid-Summer: Treat for grubs and surface-feeding insects, with a light fertilizer application to help protect roots during heat stress.
Step 5: Late Summer/Early Fall: Nitrogen-rich fertilizer to help the lawn recover from summer damage and promote strong root development.
Step 6: Late Fall: Finish with a winterizer fertilizer to strengthen deep root reserves and prepare the lawn for spring growth.
